he doesnt deserve the benefit of the doubt. remember what happened last time he was in control...spent 5 years avoiding everyone good and tried to cherry pick and fight sartison, truax, periban, among others. hbo rejected his ass time and time again and he started crying and blaming his promoter instead of fighting good opponents. his promoter said ward wouldnt fight hbo approved opponents and destroyed his ass in court 3 times because ward wanted to get out of his contract when in fact it was he who was at fault because he wouldn't fight opponents good enough for hbo. so the guy who in court records was found to be avoiding tough competition is the guy who figths everyone?

Absolutely not. Don't let the hatred of a few putrid posters have you believing he's "bitching out"

But good to you is Boo-Tay.

In 2011 he beat Carl Froch wrapping up a SMW tournament where he beat everyone. Since then, the only SMW to emerge as the top guy was Carl Froch. Hell, even Arthur Abraham, another Ward victim, babysat the #1 spot at 168 for a short stint. It wasn't until recently that Jack and DeGale emerged as legitimate top 3 contenders.

Since Ward moved up, he beat Kovalev, the top dog at 175.

Ward has one of the best resumes in boxing. You guys just have the bar set higher for him because he is too damn good.

I know people are gonna say just wait...but it's been over 3 months. How long do they need to wait to start negotiating what was supposed to be an immediate rematch?

Who cares about this fight...both guys are boring, one guy headbutts his way into inside fighting...the other guy can only KO bums...couldn't even KO BHOP when Joe Smith did...nobody wants to see this fight...it'll be just more bad judging and bitching from the "fans".

nothing wrong with his resume but you said he would fight everyone which isn't true. he will only fight when things are heavily in his favor like the super six or when he is forced into fighting like against kovalev. hes never fought anyone good when he has been on top. when he had free reign(or thought he did) he didn't choose to go after guys like bute who isn't even good according to you so why not take a career high payday to beat him? why not take a career high payday to beat froch in a rematch? why not fight stevenson? not worthy. now he's on top again(technically although everyone knows he lost) and hes talking like he has free reign again. now is not the time to give him the benefit of the doubt but the time to put his feet to the fire and pressure him into following things. some people need a lot of poking and prodding to get into that ring. ward is def one of them.

Thats Wards entire career in a nuthsell, his resume, his persona, he is a boring diva, a bitch who can only fight if everything is to his favour. If not he will stall, complain, cry or ignore everyone. Boxing will be better when he retires, it's not like he has any fans or brought any excitement to the sport. He is that kind of negative person and antifighter who literally drives boxing fans away from the sport.

We should make a petition for Wards retirement.

                  Boxing is better without Ward.

And then it will be "It's only been FOUR months." "It's only been, um, FIVE months." "It's only been...six...um I think..." "It hasn't been THAT long!" Haha.
