OK I wouldn't go that far. That's a little extreme.

Thurman out brawled and outboxed Danny. clear victory. **** a rematch. get to the back of the line and start over. Keith needs to move on. Danny didn't give Herrera a rematch.

You post on a boxing forum. We are boxing nerds here. There are maybe 100,000 of us in the US at most. Some guys on here even watch Rigo fights. So of course you would watch it again on CBS.

But the majority of people, would rather Thurman face someone different in an exciting match up: Brook, Spence, Manny, Crawford, even Broner would make more sense.

It did good ratings so I can see a commercial argument. Hardcore fans won't like it though. Nor will the press. Cards were way closer than the fight.

The flipside is that if Thurman is going to be fighting some fringe guy next, then what's there to lose?

                  Danny Garcia has:

problems before even thinking of a Thurman rematch.

It's so funny when a fighter gets clearly beaten and screams for a rematch. This was one of if not the biggest fights in Garcia's career; a chance to be the first PR JWW champ to move up & unify the WW division. It's like he 's saying, "I wasn't ready for this huge fight this time around, but give me a rematch, and boy, I'll be ready then!!"
