I highly doubt they've agreed to a rematch already. Maybe a non-binding verbal agreement at best.

Beyond all that what difference does it make? What does Danny do differently in a rematch that gets him the win? All I can think is he fights closer to Philly & gets more Danny friendly judges. I saw very little adjusting by Danny to deal with what Thurman was bringing & if Thurman hadn't tried his best ODLH vs Tito impression in the last couple rounds the fight wouldn't have even been a split decision. Danny needs a trainer who can get him to make tactical changes in a fight or take risks to win when things aren't going well like last Saturday. I don't believe Angel in the corner offers that & I'm an Angel fan, but he's never seemed like the best trainer & alls well & good as long as you're winning. Once you lose you need to figure out how you can get better & one obvious move is a more experienced & seasoned trainer in the corner.

Angel is a limited trainer, Danny is not going to beat Thurman just stand their ala Canelo style, Canelo can get gifts because he has clout and status, Canelo has gotten so many gifts.

Heck Cotto was outboxing him and he got a wide score, heck Canelo even got a close card against Floyd and Canelo looked like a drained zombie barely moving and he had a judge practically giving him rounds.

What Angel needs to do is make sure Danny starts early and applies pressure and combos stop waiting for a guy to come to you, Danny is not going to go far unless he learns to use his feet and apply pressure and cut off the ring throwing more than 3 punches at a time, I notice Danny throws a hard shot and admires his work thats the sparring mentality, keep throwing and setting traps, that quick hook or no look sneak counter is not going to work all the time.

They said before the fight there was no rematch clause, so it's up to Thurman to give them a rematch. I don't see much point in it, the fight wasn't close.
