I have a dream one day keyboard warriors that have done nothing with their life respect lionhearted boxers who win world titles (yes, talking to you sadiqkingof****sucking).
yeah, everyone has to be a fan of everyone and have nothing but nice things to TYPE or ''suffer'' being tagged a kbw
paulie wasnt anything special. he took a beating when he fought good guys. true, he didnt have much to work with but he was rewarded with nice paydays.
he wasnt going to make money tapping strangers on the chin for 36 minutes. he had to fight known guys to get that money. why must he also be rewarded with asinine accolades ?
''oh, he had heart.''
something that can be said about just anyone whos ever fought.....ever.
''he never ducked anyone.''
when a cu/nt steps back and look at FACTS, not many boxers have ''ducked'' anyone.
''he was always up against guys with ''more'' weapons.''
and ?!?!?!? you dont have to hurt a person to beat them. he had a jab and stamina. taptaptap run away. those are ''weapons''.
for me, there was nothing ''magical'' about him. he talked way too much (self promotion when theres no real substance to the product).
he was a poor mans camacho.
hes ok on the mic but he repeats himself as if no one heard him the 1st 10x.Last edited by Elroy The Great; 03-08-2017, 01:51 AM.

IBF world champion at junior welterweight. WBA world champion at welterweight. Had to go overseas and win by knockout to get that welterweight title.
Never went after WBOgus or WBA "regular" titles.
Talked a ton of ****. Fought every big name willing to fight him. Won some. Lost some. But always kept it real and always spoke his mind.
Now we get to hear him at ringside for many years to come.

That is more than 99% of the people walking around on this planet can say. I have seen too many talented people sell themselves short, give up or self-destruct. The jails and homeless shelters are full of them. These talents manage to snatch defeat from jaws of victory. Pauli has earned his props the hard way.
Because let's get real, his 2 titles fights are N Goudjo and Senchenko.
His mouth opened him fights with Cotto, Kahn or Garcia, not his record.

When one chapter ends, another begins. Paulie would've probably retired much sooner if not for that devastating KO at the hands of Porter, but nobody wants to retire on a loss. I can't recall anything worthy of note from his rather mediocre run in boxing, but if you pointed a gun to my head and forced me to contrive something positive to compliment his career, it would be that he was one of the few boxers who lived up to his name. After stepping foot in the ring many times over the span of 19 years, he somehow managed to make an exit without leaving a single imprint. My hat goes off to Paulie, he truly is the "Magic Man".

Pailie has never been my hero but i have full respect for what he's achieved. I am sick of so called fans not giving journeyman and contenders respect... well boxers in general. If you notice the trend of many boxers being called bums unless they are truely elite, which is common on nsb, it should annoy you (if your a boxer yourself).
To even have a single 12 round fight should demand respect, given 99% of guys on here have never fought a 6, 8 or 10 rounder.
So basically, unless you've fought at that level or above, by all means criticize the fighter, but do so in a respectful way, acknowledging that you've never reached the same heights, or remotely close.
That's what i mean by keyboard warrior.
