Lets be ***ing real here!!!!! This is not about Spence and GGG. I have countless times seen the same group of posters again and again and again attack GGG, Lom, and Kov and that is NO COINCIDENCE! And another set of posters constantly attack Floyd, Crawford, Spence, and now Gervanta and that is NO COINCIDENCE! Everyone needs to cut the ***ing BS!!! This has always come down to racial favoritism and or racial dislike. How many of you can claim you have NEVER pulled for a fighter just because he was your race or color or against another fighter because of his race or color??? Go ahead, post your name if you have never done this! I have many times signed my name to the fact that I have NEVER pulled for or against a fighter because of his color or race!

Man, this thread is well intentioned but utterly, utterly pointless. It's my observation that the fanboys / haters on this site (who actually constitute a small minority despite being amongst the most prolific posters) come here principally because they just can't get enough of squabbling with each other, not because they love to talk boxing - although many are passionate about the sport too. That ain't gonna change.

On the thread topic though, I have to agree - Spence is a very exciting prospect, but it's too early yet to go overboard with the praise. If he beats Brook he starts to put his name properly in the mix with the best in his division and maybe in the P4P rankings too, but until then Ima continue to regard him as what he is - a red hot prospect and exciting KO artist.

I get what you're saying as well. Bandwagoners are annoying as ****. And I did say in my original post that Spence fans should seriously support their dude, and show him love, but not claim he lays waste to everybody until he actually has, because he'll end up being shat on GGG style, and you guys as fans will have to defend him.

I am not a Brook fan so you may want to ask someone else that question. But his Porter win is better then any win Spence has gotten at this point.
