Well, i had Haye ahead but it was hardly the destruction that he and most others including myself predicted.

Haye is a shot fighter, that much was evident before the injury, but Bellew was in there and competitive before the injury anyway and did what he needed to do when he got his opportunity.

I don't think anyones saying Bellew's win wasn't down to the injury, it absolutely was, but most didn't even give him a chance to last until the point of injury. He was hardly getting demolished in there...

But y'know, most predicted Makabu to KO him aswell, then Makabu was suddenly a bum who had beaten nobody.

I can't comment on that because I am in New Mexico and they didn't show that fight here. Off topic I remember you starting a thread shortly before the Thurman vs Garcia fight saying Garcia would lay Thurman out cold and that was a sure thing. Your crystal ball was a bit off on that one.

According to boxing rules (may be different in the US but I don't think so) an unexpected injury that occurs to a fighter should really end the fight in a no contest.

After that 6th round, the ref should have gone and spoken to Haye and Haye's corner, evaluated the situation and then called the fight off. It would have been a no contest.

Pretty sure that's only if it's an accidental injury caused by the other fighter and after 4 it goes to the cards.

Haye is to blame, he went into the fight injured. Honetly he can be sued for this because a lot of people bet money on him.

By your logic Glazkov vs Martin would have been NC too..
So Martin wouldn't have won the title, not defended it against Joshua & Joshua wouldn't have won the IBF title & wouldn't be facing Klitschko now for 2/4 belts & possibly the next #1 spot..

                What a flawed logic..

I agree. It should have been a NC. but Haye's warrior heart compelled him to keep on fighting

A healthy Haye would have smashed Bellew to bits

Haye was just unlucky, but he's still the superior fighter by far

Why do you even care this much little girl? All I've see from you since the fight is you trying to defend your boyfriend. He couldn't hurt Bellew in the first 5 & a half rounds. Embarrassing.

I'll have to remember that the next time someone claims that Byrd actually beat Vitali........
