You could tell it was killing him not to give actual excuses in the post fight interview but he couldn't after the whole toe thing.

If he had gone to Germany to see his doctor during the week of the fight then for sure he was scared of injury or was injured.. Haye thought he can get Bellew out in 3-4 rounds and when it didn't happen he had to fight it out..
