Thurman's power is a myth.

It isn't Lil g's fault 160 isn't as talented as other divisions.

It IS his fault when matches can be made and he doesn't do everything he can consistent with his own words to make them.

I think his power comes from his speed. He's not the most heavy handed of guys. I think he hurts guys more by stunning them with the speed of the shots. His handspeed is very underrated he has very fast hands IMO
He definitely has good power but he doesn't have that one punch game changer & his style doesn't really lend towards stopping fighters as he fights in spurts he is a bit amateurish still.

Then again I never expected him to stop DSG that kid has some chin. I'll never forget him taking that flush right hand from Matthysse that sent his mouthpiece into orbit. That shot would of knocked out a damn horse and he took it. He took bombs from Kendall Holt back in the day too. He has a great chin the only one at WW I feel has a good chance of stopping him possibly is Spence.

        clearly went off PEDs.
No. He fought Rios, algieri, etc... in his mid 30's and his workrate has gradually decreased over time. He never knocked anyone out outright at 147.. He stopped guys by accumulative punishment. And he was hungry then to make money and hurt.

only Hatton was knocked out and that fight was at 140. As well, Hatton had been previously stopped before.

All great fighters with long careers typically have their KO's rates decrease with age as they step up competition or get older. If you don't know this or in denial, then that's sad.

And by the way, he's still knocking people down. Just not overwhelming guys. Vargas, never hit the canvas before in all his previous bouts, hit the canvas for the 1st time their last fight.

Thurman has shtty footwork. He is quick footed and just runs. There is nothing methodical about his footwork.

It's obviously not what it was made out to be. But at this level fighters get tougher. Still a hard hitter though.
