    This^^^^^^

Danny usually throws with his opponents. He was hesitant to do that with Thurman

Nobody thinks Thurman is featherfisted, but he's far from "one time" ko power

they criticize pacquiao for not knocking someone out for 7 years, but imagine if thurman has to fight durable fighters such as Clottey, Margarito, Mosley and Marquez. Hell I bet they can beat him and knock him out instead of the other way around.

Yea Pacquiao , the aging atg, now 38, the former featherweight... umm flyweight,..." hasn't knocked out someone since '09...he must have been on peds! ....lol ..Meanwhile, a 'prime' Thurman stepped up the competition against Porter and Garcia,.. and no KO's.

Truth is... it's a lot more difficult to knockout top 10 competition.

Thurman hurt Garcia more than Lucas did.

            He hits hard enough

He is fighting better opponents now.

So, he is boxing more and slugging less.

Which means, as he is on his toes more than he is flatfooted, less force on his punches.

              He is the same guy.

And it is telling that Swift respected Thurman a hell of a lot more than he did Matthysse...

That's probably why he was content to dance the past few rounds because he was fatigued
I don't think its the injury or fatigue. Watch the fight vs Bundu. He puts him on his ass early on then decides to cruise. We've seen this before once fighters start coming up. He boxes more now rather than trying to KO people. If the KO comes it comes. If not, they're just happy to box it out.

Crawford is another example. The guy would always **** here and there on FNF and **** but look at him now.

I've seen Ray Leonard and Ali put guys down...then cruise once they realized the KO wasn't there.

Crawford was in the most important fight of his career and he fought SMART.No SENSE giving your opponent a chance to win.

Only a moron would risk a lead by going for the KO.

You have the fight won...why risk breaking your hand?......why risk getting headbutted and gashed?....why risk getting KTFO??

I bet if your Brother or son were out there....you'd want him to fight SMART and let the fans boo or cheer as they wish.

Garcia wasn't going anywhere....nor was Postal.

                  Boxing ain't a Rocky movie.

Almost all of whom are 140 lbers moving up and have already been knocked down before. DSG and Porter have grade A chins. Thurman has just as much power as all the other top welters, but his non aggressive game plans reduce his ko's. The shots he dished to DSG in rd 1 would stop or ko most of the guys Manny has knocked down!
