Thurman should unify with the Brook/Spence winner. He's also got to fight Lamont at some point, that would also be a good fight.

Thurman is a really boring fighter. What a horrible decision to have in a main event of primetime network t.v. Couldn't have picked a more boring fighter. He can turn any fight into a snoozefest. Boxing should be making a comeback, but nights like tonight ruin it. Lubin was the only positive part of the entire night.Comment

That's fine, but no matter how you slice it, garcia lost the fight. He looked like a bad amateur at times swinging wildly and not composed. Not at any time did his countenance say he thought he was ahead. At the end his face was just disappointed, and then he started smiling like someone told him he won, but then they said Keith and then Danny suddenly looked pissed like he somehow deserved the win. Meanwhile crackhead angel didn't look shocked at all. And what do you mean about the announcers?? They were on Garcia's jock most of the night. Calling shots that didn't land or weren't effective. Idk why anyone likes that kid, there's nothing special about him except his special ed father. He's a decent fighter with 2 gift decisions, and best win that was a low blow fest.If you look at compuscore and pct of connected shots, then also consider thurman gave away the last 3 rounds you will understand how it was closer. You need to turn down the volume, ignore the scores they post on tv, and honestly look at the fight objectively. Then u will see it was closer than u see. Been scoring fights a while and I dont miss many.Comment

It wasn't razor thin at all. Keith moved...wow! I thought this was boxing where you use your feet and legs.I had it 115 -113 for Thurman and I penalized Keith heavily for getting on the bike late. Thurman almost gave the fight away. You could have concievably given the last 3 round to Danny and come up with a draw. I felt Thurman won this one by jumping out to a big lead but he should have put one of those championship rounds in the bank in a more definitive way. In the end the judges got it right but he made it closer than it needed to be by running the last 2 rounds. Danny wasn't going to KO him. He shouldn't have been on that bike that hard. He followed his corners advice and won a razor thin decision. I agreed with what he said in the post fight about leaving himself open to a draw at worst. They knew what they were doing but wow they kinda played with fire there and came up with a split win. I bet the guy that had it for Danny gave him all three of the last rounds.Comment

agree 100% not close in my eyes at all. They just think, "Oh, Keith didn't beat him up so bad that round, I'll give it to Danny".
The rounds that Keith was moving Danny did nothing. Didn't really land any punches, didn't control the ring, but at times he did have some decent defense. Keith didn't do anything spectacular either but he was the one controlling the ring.
Danny threw way less punches and was NOT aggressive like his fans think. He landed less punches and his punches were nowhere near as effective as Keith's punches.
Crazy anyone could actually think this was a close fight. Clearly a Thurman win.Comment

Herrera & Peterson exposed Danny better.
Just as Brook exposed Porter better than Keith did.
Thurman is just in the right place at the right time. A 40yr old Mayweather could rather easily UD him.Comment
