Hugging as a strategy and giving your opponent claustrophobia isn't called schooling.

Schooling = What Mayweather did to Canelo for reference.

      +1

      Neither are elite.

I feel like keith COULD be elite, but he never will be...doesnt have the right mindset.

Definitely aient no ' one time' when the competition rose slightly....the KO's disappeared...

Let's not overrate Maidana. Both of these dudes beat him.

You don't become a fan favorite by wining boring technical decisions all the time.

Only Floyd could do that. Thurman missed his shot to be a star tonight IMO.
I thought he started out great, but really blew it those last two rounds.

Maidana already ducked Thurman. And thats when Thurman was just a green pup.

BoxingScene.com ran a story on Saturday where hard hitting Marcos Maidana’s fight with Keith Thurman, which was rumored to have fallen apart, was still being negotiated between Golden Boy Promotions and Maidana’s manager Sebastian Contursi. While Contursi and Golden Boy are indeed still in negotiations, it’s not for a possible Thurman fight for Maidana. Rather they are negotiating to find a replacement opponent for the Argentina native.

Maidana would def lose to Thurman. Thurman is a pretty good body puncher and that is one thing Maidana cannot take is body shots.

Back when people thought Thurman was better than he truly is.
Mayweather would wipe the floor with him; Brook would also UD him.
