Very ordinary fighters. These two are the best at 147? One cannot throw anything but lunging shots with his head flailing and the one had his feet stuck in cement.

Either one would have beat "I got worked by Alexander" Maidana. BUT, he would have brought out the best in them and made them really fight for it. That's what was great about Maidana fights.

I miss Maidana as well but no version of Maidana beats Thurman though

Maidana was a real fighter, he fought everyone who was put in front of him, gave the fans a show, and he was rewarded with big fights and big paydays.

You don't become a fan favorite by wining boring technical decisions all the time.

Only Floyd could do that. Thurman missed his shot to be a star tonight IMO.

I'm not sure about Maidana but Floyd could come out of retirement and school any current welterweight at 40 years old without breaking a sweat. I'm sure of that.

I think Pacquiao arguably beats these guys easy still.
