    Haye Redeems Himself

    Yes, in a loss.

A pretty brutal KO, in fact.

But, it was clear he was a severely limited fighter from the end of the 6th on.

    Yet Haye never quit.

It was one of the most courageous things I have ever seen in a ring.

He deserves our respect for being a true warrior.

    Yeah, amazing courage shown.

Shane McGuigan should have let him finish the fight tho. Throw the towel in early if you're gonna...the man fought for 6 rounds whilst barely being able to stay upright ffs, now we gotta listen to how Bellew ''stopped'' Haye. He didn't stop jack ****...Haye was stopped by the injury.

I don't really buy the lack of toughness nonsense.

He's fought through stuff before and did it again tonight (only more visibly). Professional fighters are not weak minded.

What I admired from him the most is he never said a word about it after the fight, never once entered into any kind of excuse take my hat of to David a very honourable loss.

Haye showed incredible courage, he was in so much pain yet fought through it and gave Bellew credit without excuses. Bellew too showed class after the fight. It was more drama than boxing, but it was compelling viewing all the same.

That's what surprised me the most. As he was praising Bellew there were a few boos in the audience, but I guess they weren't listening and just assumed he'd be making excuses. When he was trying to get back in to the ring and fight on I was on the verge of tears. Massive heart.

Total redemption in my eyes at least. He could've sat down, talked about being ahead on the cards and demanded a rematch, but he chose to fight on and gave it everything.

Please. It won't take long for him to make excuses. If they rematch he will lose again. Haye is and always has been overrated.
