I'm going to give credit to DLH for wanting a fight with Wright. Most people felt that he was avoiding Wright when they both competed at 154.I would pick Wright to beat him just as I would have if they fought a couple of years ago.Still much respect to DLH for wanting this fight over so many possibilities he has.

which is totally false. To be the #1 fighter in the world you have to be beating the #1's in the world and quite frankly, he is not doing that.

Bro the guy is a 4 divisional Champ and still undefeated, reason why he is regarded as the #1 pound for pound fighter. Only problem is that there just too many lunatics who can't appreciate what the guy has done, instead he gets antagonized. It's a lot harder to keep climbing up in weight and fight rated fighters in the higher divisions than remaining in one division and unifying titles and belts against paper champs.

listen dumbass, people are slagging off hatton for not fighting floyd or whatever their biased reasons...
mayweather moved up to 140 and fought GATTI (one of the worst titlists ever), moved up to 147 and fought Sharmba Mitchell, who previously got pounded and knocked out by Zoo, then he fights for a title in Judah, who got his ass kicked and almost knocked out by probably the worst titlist ever.

Then someone like Hatton takes on a top 4 p4p fighter and STOPS him, fights for another belt, moves up to 147 ON HIS FIRST FIGHT fights a very tricky, speedy southpaw who would give anyone in 147 problems. And beats him also.

So what dumb****, you think Hatton's accomplishment warrants him to be the top p4p fighter today ? Yeah he fought Michelle, he fought Zab, and it seems that you failed to take into consideration that PBF came from 3 divisions down under.

I have no problem if Hatton becomes the top p4p fighter in the future based on what he will accomplish but certainly not now.

lol, you have to be kidding me the only one here that's a dumbass is you. I can't believe you are even comparing Hatton to Floyd. Here lets do the reverse of what you did. Hatton fought the only version of zoo he could beat the 35 year old version that just couldnt keep up with him. Then he fought THE WORST TITLISTS ever in Carlos Maussa. Then he decides oh I can chase floyd if, he can do it I can and almost gets exposed at 147. Then decides screw this im moving down to 140. Dont even compare the two cause they are both on diff levels your argument is useless. Floyd is #1 p4p easy.

Hatton needs to move down, I'm a Hatton fan but De la Hoya would stop Hatton without a shadow of a doubt, Hatton has a terrible frame for Welterweight. The way I see it Collazo 'could' have got the decision and the other time Ricky fought a 'natural' welterweight in Eamon Magee he got dropped (albeit he dominated the fight from then on in.) Ricky holds no advantages at Welterweight as Collazo proved by simply being able to push Hatton of him, so big Welters like Oscar and Margarito would be probably stop Ricky unless he somehow develops even more strength.

while floyd's skills and in ring intelligence are superior - smokin's argument has merit imo as floyd's recent choices in opponents has been less than world class and with fighters he feels threaten him the least
