Oscar has Ruled out Tito, Hatton, & Margarito?

Dont know if this has been posted already but I havent seen it. He said that a win over Hatton or Margarito really wouldnt do anything for him and there is nothing to gain in those fights.

That leaves only 2 fights and thats Winky or Floyd. The problem with those 2 are the Mayweather Sr. situation and Winky could lose to Taylor.

People say that they dont see Oscar fighting Floyd but I see it happening easily. No one will give Oscar much credit for beating Margarito or Hatton. Tito is semi retired, half washed up, and no one wants to see that fight. No one wants to see him fight Vargas or Mosley either for the same reason as Tito.

Winky is a big fight and I think Oscar thinks he can beat him but it wouldnt sell nearly as much as Floyd and its likely to be very boring.

Then you have the Mayweather fight. I remember when Floyd beat Zab and they interviewed Oscar right after that and he said "Floyd doesnt look the same at 147. I told people that its hard to move up and thats what happened to me. He's not as fast or strong at 147".

If Oscar said that then you know he thought he could beat him and that was before the Mayorga fight. Now after the Mayorga fight he definatly thinks he can win. If he thinks Floyd doesnt look that good at 147, then you know he thinks that Floyd will look that much worse at 154 and Oscar looked and felt great there.

Then you add to all the subplots about Sr. training Oscar, its Oscar's last fight, and its against the pound for pound best figher in the world.

To me thats a no brainer. Oscar has made more money then anyone and with all that, this fight could still make more money then any of his previous fights. Thats saying something. How many people get to retire by beating the best fighter in the game? Would you rather fight a guy who can go all the way to 160 and look strong like Winky or a guy who looks weaker at 147 and has to fight you at 154?

PS-On a side note, Im sick of Brian Kenney. Did you hear him play Floyd like he was running from Margarito? Talking about thats the fight that Floyd turned down for 8 million? Duh, I would turn it down also if I knew I could make nearly 3 times as much to fight Oscar. Why would Floyd fight him for 8 when he can get over 20 for Oscar? Ive said it before and Ill say it again. There is no way in hell that Floyd thinks that a Margarito fight is harder then a fight with Oscar at 154. If Margarito sold like Oscar then Floyd would be fighting him. If Oscar had retired then Floyd wouldve took that Margarito fight for 8 mil easily

we don't know about mayweather's power yet at 147...

he said numerous times that he didn't want to knock zab out, he just wanted to box him, and he sure did. he was just being cautious of a tricky south paw with some nice power in that left hand. and later on in the fight when floyd was kicking zabs ass, you could hear him tell his corner that he wanted to stop him, but they said no, and to just keep boxing.

and probably would've the way things were going if it wasn't for the whole riot incident.

then floyd laid back and goofed off the last 2 rounds pretty much.

Trust me, Im not dissing him. I think alot of it had to do with Floyd just not loading up because Zab was a Southpaw with power. Zab was hard to hit so he had to throw short quick punches, and Floyd was scared that if he overcommitted that Zab would catch him with a counter square up.

He wouldnt have those worries with a righty or a southpaw with regular power like Callazo.

However, I do think that alot of fans, media, and Oscar think that Floyd doesnt have much power at 147 and he's slower. Add to that he came into the ring for a 147 pound fight at 146, means he is very small. He said he only walks around at 149, so I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt make the 154pound weight at all while Oscar comes in at close to 170

DLT watch out the Margorito lover's are gonna act as if this is so hard to understand and act like their or any other fighter's who wouldn't do the same if given the oppurtunity. I agree that this is a tough challenge at 154 even if the hater's try to discredit a win(if he does win)and realize that this would drive up his money in future fight's as well. It's good to see that fighter's when they feel there "deserving" of a bigger payday or can't get the desired fight's at their current weight class that they're willing to MOVE UP and fight the bigger man. That way you can challenge yourself while setting up megafight's with guy's in smaller weight classes as well as the big boy's at the higher weight.

what the hell does he prove in beating Floyd? If he does win he beat a smaller, weaker fighter who did not even belong at 147. Floyd doesn't even deserve this fight after taking on Sharmba '1 Hit Wonder' Mitchell and Zab 'Stuper' Judah.

I find it laughable the people that harp on Hatton for not looking as good against Collazo. At least he's fought for 3 straight REAL belts, not just some belts that Judah retained because of sanctioning fee's.

Wright is who Oscar really want's to fight. If Wright beat's Taylor.....Oscar will jump inbetween the rematch and call Wright out..

But the thing is...Taylor has the handspeed to beat Wright, just like Vargas did, and just like Oscar has. Oscar is a fighter's fighter, he see's the stand straight up style that Wright has and Oscar's mouth is drooling to let his hand speed go on that frequent Wright defense. So most likely Oscar is **** out of luck on fightin Wright since Taylor has that handspeed too..

Right now as we speak, Oscar is supposedly on a yaht circling the island of puerto rico with out his wife or family thinking about "his options" TRANSLATION he is boning grips of puerto rican chicks on his yaht LMAO!...That's what I'd be doin lol..

So he'll realize that he infact will have to fight Floyd..
