This all goes back to Mayweather turning down Golovkin's offer to fight him at Jr. Middle. He had to dodge that bullet by insisting Golovkin move up to fight Ward instead. Meanwhile, Golovkin was very respectful towards Mayweather, but wasn't shown the same courtesy in return. Would anyone expect anything less from Mayweather?Comment

do i think youd fight golovkin instead of someone who has never boxed professionally for your 50th fight? absolutely not!Comment

That's why Canelo didn't fight GGG. Khan was to be an easy knockout. Sure, Canelo got the KO but it wasn't easy and Khan was lighting him up. Guy, Khan jumped two classes. Imagine what GGG would do to him namsayin?Comment

No need to lie
Canelo landed 42 power shots...only 1 will be remembered #CaneloKhan pic.twitter.com/Fwidpiv5HX

Khan didn't outland Canelo in a single round the entire fight and only landed double figures 1 round. He was literally on pace to set career lows in offensive production in every punch stat and connect rate compubox records. So if this is being lit up then what you call Brook landing double the punches in less rounds on GGG and phuking his face up?
In a slugfest, Gennady Golovkin landed 44% of his total punches, including 53% of his jabs (11.6 landed per round- double the middleweight avg.). Balsy Kell Brook landed 37% of his power punches and was outlanded just 75-60 in that department. GGG closed the show by landing 25 of 53 power punches in round five and landed 39% for the fight.Comment

Bytch you said he lit him up so what else could that mean but punches? And no he didn't canelo gave away the first 2 rounds. After that Canelo had his speed figured out and was timing him and systematically broke him in half to the body and set up a kill shot. GGG had more problems with Brook then canelo did with Khan. Look at both guys faces and Brook was doubling up the career worst production from Khan. So if that counts as lighting him up then I guess Brook steam rolled GGG by that logic.
