The fight won't ever happen until Triple B is willing to take a VERY GENEROUS $15,000,000 fee.

That's about 1.6 MILLION per round according to your 9 round KO.

That's $555,555 a MINUTE!!! Plus whatever Nike and any OTHER sponsor he has throws in.

You obviously didn't understand my point. Floyd is saying that people want his paydays without having earned them. I am saying that Floyd's first big payday vs De La Hoya is comparable to GGG vs Canelo. GGG has earned the right to have a big payday by fighting what would amount to his fiercest competition (should he get past Jacobs).

        2. Comparing weights 30 days before the fight to fight night weight is 2 completely different scenarios and makes no sense to even compare the two things. You should know that. 3. Never in my life would I say geale was awesome. I never said beating cotto wasn't a good win, my point was if Canelo couldn't ko a much older and smaller cotto who has been stopped before and been in wars, why should we really think that Canelo knocking out ggg who's never really even seemed hurt is a probable outcome as mayweather said??
        1. You're the one who went Full RTARD and asct like your Cleo and knows EVERYONE's weight. How do you even KNOW Cotto's unofficial weight???

"Cotto: Official: 153.6 - Unofficial: HBO could not get Cotto's weight, which is normal for Cotto."
        Geale: Official: 157 - Unofficial: 182

        2. - Agree But it goes to show doesn't mean jack sht

        3. Maybe not you but many, many ppl have told me Geale was super AWESOME.

        4. I don't know why Canelo didn't KO Cotto??? It looked like he was holding back??? Did you see the fight? Maybe he knew he won so why bother embarrassing a GREAT HOFAMER. Cotto did grab his girl and RAN from the ring afterwards. He also had his HEAD all lumpy as *** afterwards!

Here is the fight since you didn't see it! Go to 42:22 and look at Cotto. Inf fact watch the entire 12th round and ask yourself why didn't he go in for the kill???

        5. You make it sound EASY to KO Cotto??? The ONLY ones to do it was Pac on PEDS (Or whatever was in those shakes). And CHEATO who should be in JAIL for wrapping his gloves.

WOW!!! Your extra ****** today. Here's your lil star...

I think Canelo wins this fight also. But the thing that gets me is that people talk about 15 million like its chump change lol haha it's almost like people believe its normal to make 15 million for a fight easy, bump it up to 30 million lol

see, I tried to keep it civil but if you're going to continue to insist that I went full ******, Ima have prove to you how ****** you sound. 1. Cotto weighed 153 vs geale for a catchweight of 157, what would make you think that he would rehydrate to over 160 when he came in almost 4 pounds under the contracted weight? This was just months before he fought Canelo. Based on everything I listed with Canelo consistently weighing over 170 on fight night 1 and 2 yrs before he fought cotto, it's not probable to think he had a nearly 20 pound weight advantage? Yes or no? 2. My original point was if he couldn't ko cotto, is it likely that he'd ko ggg? If you had a gun to your head and were asked, will Canelo ko ggg or not, which are you picking?? 3. I don't buy into Canelo taking it easy on cotto out of respect. Young lions take out old lions. The way Holmes did Ali, the way tyson did Holmes, the way Oscar did Chavez, the way pac did Oscar. **** respect, you take their ass out if you can. Canelo has been known for fading in the late rounds so he clearly paced himself to make sure he didn't burn out. It takes high volume to ko cotto and Canelo is not a volume puncher. 4. Yes cotto has only been stopped by 2 possible cheaters but that doesn't discount the damage he's taken in fights have made him more susceptible to being stopped. The guy swells up off of jabs now. In my opinion, Floyd hurt cotto worse in the 12th round of their fight than Canelo ever did. 5. If you're going to call me extra ******, at least use the correct version of the word "you're" . Just accept the L in this debate and admit that you jumped the gun.

GGG wasted his whole career fighting bums. What a shame because he's obviously a very skilled boxer, but we never got to see how skilled because he only fought tomato cans. He might fight a couple decent fighters at the end of his career, but that won't be enough.

GGG < Joe Calzaghe for his resume. Neither would have been undefeated if they had spent their careers fighting good fighters.

Canelo is to sensitive and like to take away advantages of his opponents. he's can't do that with lil G and know's that he's getting knocked out.that sparring session with headgear proved it. this fight is never happening.

Just imagine what GGG would have done to Cotto... now you know who wins this fight!

Jacobs is gonna live or die on his power more or less. Monroe has been living or dying on boxing ability & ring IQ not unlike Floyd pretty much since he left 130. Mayweather's strategy vs GGG would have probably been a good deal like Monroe's strategy would have needed to be vs GGG to have won so I can see Mayweather's advice having a more positive impact on the outcome than anything he could say to Jacobs.
I don't exactly see that many similarities to Monroe's style and Floyd's. It's sour g****s. Mayweather saying he could've helped a guy after the fact, but not before. In reality, he'd never put his time and reputation behind a guy like Monroe to beat GGG.

He's saying Golovkin is so basic that there's multiple fighters out there who can expose him, not just fighters with 'his' style. He's a promoter and closely connected with Haymon (Danny's agent). If he really believed GGG is so beatable, here was a good opportunity to take a guy in Jacobs, he could've took promotional control over and develop him to beat GGG and cash in on those accolades.
