of course he would say that, he beat canela, mayweather hates the publicity Ggg gets, and most important man on a bike hates ggg for one main thing ggg what mayweather never was and will never be, a KO artist who beat Mike Tyson's record.

floyd also moved UP to fight oscar, and accepted his role as the B-Side of the promotion. After he won, and they started talking rematch, all that went out the window. So, point still stands.

I can't remember him ever saying he wants mayweather paychecks or demanding large sums of money to get in the ring with anyone. Aside from canelo for the obvious reasons. And last, I think the hype about GGG is that he destroys everyone he fights that's it. He is flat footed, he's no master boxer but his power is something special and fans get excited about that. I don't think any of those things warrant may to constantly bash the guy or go the extra mile to disrespect and discredit him is all I'm saying. No hate to mayweather at all
You're correct. GGG has never called out an ww's except floyd, so maybe I worded that wrong. My point is that he's all too willing to fight ww's. You've never once heard him entertain the idea of moving up a division to fight another top fighter....i think that's what floyd means when he says 'earn' it. it's ok to talk about guys ducking you, but at some point, you're responsible for the big names (or lack therof) on your resume. which is the same argument i have with kell brook and his constant pestering of amir khan.

as far as the ggg hype, you're also correct about his power getting fans excited, which floyd acknowledged. at the same time, floyd was a master boxer, so is it surprising that he looks at the 'total' picture when it comes to another fighter?

the point of my post, was that the man has an opinion, and backs it up with legitimate critique, and posters are always quick to dismiss another man's opinion as hating or bashing when it differs with their own, regardless if there are legitimate points being made.

Only suckers buy into this. Nothing is more important to mayweather than his legacy and it'd be good for him if a guy that he schooled went on to beat someone like ggg. Meanwhile Canelo couldn't even ko cotto who he had a 10 yr age advantage and 20 pound weight advantage on, yet he'd ko ggg? Sure...

As usual, Mayflower is peddling bull****. GGG should get atleast 1/2 with Canelo---he's the one who's got all the belts! And he'll knock Canelo the **** out of the ring...probably torture him for 6/7 rounds, too.

              Relax everyone.

GGG is going to fight Jacobs real soon. If you think Jacobs is a bum say so now. Otherwise give whoever wins some credit.

In the unlikely event Canelo does agree to fight GGG next year we're going to find out the truth about how good GGG is or isn't, are we?

We can all have opinions but thank god the truth shall be revealed fairly soon. All that matters is that the pressure is kept up on Canelo so we can find out the truth for ourselves.

You'd better not say Brook, because Brook went up to challenge him, not the other way around.

Where have you been the last 2 years? It's funny you haters have selective memory when it comes down to certain fighters.
