A prime Porter couldn't KO and past his prime Julio Diaz. Got lucky to take a draw in their first fight. Porter is no killer, look at the guys he's KOd, a bunch of bums and an old Paulie. Couldn't KO guys like Diaz, Alfonso Gomez, De Greco, or hurt a small Broner who Maidana rocked. His last KO was against a guy who took the fight in a days notice. If smaller Broner could drop him, I'n sure Berto could too

Well, very good news. Hope Porter beats Berto and then Berto rematches Collazo.

agreed. both guys will get touched....A LOT

you're not crazy...i've felt that since the fight was brought up. maybe we're both crazy.

Berto has lost to guys who could never beat Porter. Berto doesn't do well against a high volume puncher who attacks him hard and constantly at close range. He can't handle the pressure Porter will put on him. Like Broner his main defense will be a bear hug clinch. Berto isn't as tough as Broner. Porter will beat him and probably knock him out.

His biggest win is Alexander and Broner who is too small for 147. Porter is the same guy who barely beat Julio Diaz and lost to Brook and Thurman. Broner put him down and I'm sure if he gets reckless Berto will too.
        my thoughts exactly.

Solid fight puts the winner in good position for a better opportunity.

Meh. It will probably be a bit closer than the odds say, just because of how ugly Porter fights, but he should win pretty clearly.

I'm picking Berto by K.O. because Porter is going to be there to take the hits. He's not eluding any punches and Berto has power. But I want Porter to win and hopefully get a fight with Timothy Bradley. I haven't heard anyone talk about this, but I think it's a great fight. Seems like the best welterweights are fighting now, so a Porter win puts him in the mix. Bradley would prolly prefer Khan though since that was a fight that should of happened about 5 or 6 years ago.

Berto will start out well and then take a beating to a decision loss

Good matchup I'm looking forward to this fight.Porter is a bully who wants to get inside smother you and out work you he has lost to 2 natural WW's with power Brook Thurman.Berto has speed and power in the past he struggled with fighters who smothered him Collazo Ortiz Guerrero.I'm picking Berto because he will land the clean power punches from the outside when Porter rush in to work the body

Good fight. Plus it's on the same day as the Valdez, Ramirez, Magdaleno, & Stevenson PPV, plus Murray vs Rosado
