Comments Thread For: Photos: Malignaggi, Eggington Pulled Apart at Official Weigh-In

Things were very tense between Sam Eggington and former two-weight world champion Paulie Malignaggi. The two fighters collide on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London. Eggington weighed in at 10st 6lbs 8oz [146.8-pounds], while Malignaggi was also under the welterweight limit at 10st 6lb 3oz [146.3-pounds], and they shared a few heated words before being ushered apart.

Paulie always has the deer in the headlights look. Anyway, let's hope he can pull this off. He doesn't have much left. Actually, I don't really care if he wins or not.

Eggington is a domestic C level fighter. If Paulie loses this - ITS OVER

Paulie looks to be in great shape. One step closer to bringing that European title over to the US.

Is Eggington THAT good &/or is Paulie THAT bad now? Thats my main questions with this fight & I can't give much of a solid answer to either question.

If Paulie wins we will have a lot of angry Euros on the boards. There will be much talk of Brooklyn lads versus London Hooligans and Liverpudians. Across the pond a champion is venerated! while in Brooklyn its more like "you talkin to me?"

The tat war over and sadly Paulie was lacking.
