The hook opens up for Danny because he goes to the body first. A few rounds later then he throws that hook. Thurman figured that wrong. At times Danny tries to counter with it

I'm surprised Garcia's not more of an underdog. Thurman has fought 147 or above his whole career. Garcia has fought 3x at 147, Danny's best work was a few years ago at 140.
Thurman moves well and he won't stand in front of Garcia. If he uses the same tactics as Peterson did vs Danny (without giving away the first half of the fight, lol) it should be a pretty easy night.

All Thurman has to do is watch the Maurice Herrera vs Danny "Tropical Mexican " Garcia fight and that is the blueprint to defeating danny....I remember that fight....I had never heard of maurice so it was one of those days where I wanted to see someone get knocked out....I figured Danny will K.O. this maurice in a jiffy but to my surprise danny was given a gift hence Danny "Tropical Mexican " Garcia is called Danny "Gift"Garcia by the Scientists of the sweet science

Remember Morales gave Garcia lot of problems in the first fight. Kept catching Danny with a right hook (I believe). People tend to forget how close the first fight was because he stopped Morales in the second fight. Also, Collazo had somewhat of a surprise stoppage of Ortiz a few fights back. All I was trying to say was people tend to point out the disparity in resumes because of name recognition with Garcia's opponents. I think this a evenly matched fight regardless of resumes.

He has this uncanny ability to neutralize his opponent's strengths and then capitalize on their weaknesses.

However, One time is cut from another cloth. He is a boxing sage. He knows and anticipates all of this. There is nothing that Danny does that's going to catch him by surprise. He sounds very focused and prepared for this fight and won't make the mistake of underestimating him by being overly aggressive and reckless. He is taking this fight very seriously.
His father sees the fight very well and his instructions are usually on point

Collazo also recently stopped Sammy Vasquez.

My heart says Thurman clearly has the advantage, but my mind remembers that Danny has seemed to find a way before.
