Danny winning this was always going to be based on whether Thurman makes mistakes, but it sounds like he knows everything there is to know about Danny's style.

He better be careful. Garcia must be a converted southpaw. His left hook is a more powerful punch than any right hand punch he throws. It can be a very fast sneaky punch that seems to come out of nowhere. I still think Thurman will beat him and I pray that Thurman wins. If Danny wins that would make Angel a very important person in boxing. He would be in the spotlight he loves. That's a good enough reason for me to root for Thurman. I have always been a Thurman fan since I first saw him fight.

He'll still probably get caught with it but it's a matter of how much he sees it coming beforehand. Hopefully he has enough time to roll with it and tuck his chin. Can't wait.

The one thing I will say is Thurman has the upper hand in this fight. I know people look at Garcia's resume as being better than Thurman but I'm not putting much stock in that. Both Matthysse and Khan had incredible flaws that Garcia was able to expose. Judah and Morales were way passed their primes. I also don't see the Collazo fight as a knock on Thurman because Collazo is also a really good fighter. Thurman has been doing it at that weight for a quite a while. With the skill level being close I would say that whoever is more comfortable at the weight would have the advantage. This will be a close fight which mean the decision will more than likely go towards Garcia.

Garcia is facing his best opponent to date. Very curious to see how this all unfolds. I've bet against Danny before and he's proven me wrong, but I've got to go with Thurman on this one.
I wouldn't really call Danny Garcia, in the comparison, a junk ball pitcher though; Danny is akin to a pitcher who throws 89/90 mph, with a really good curve, and a good cutter, who ends up stiking out 9-10 batters every game off of simply properly placing/mixing up his three pitches.

Mauricio Herrera, imo, is more of a junk pitcher

That weapon will be one of the key elements that his opponent on Saturday, Keith Thurman(27-0, 22 KO's), will have to look out for when the two of them meet inside the Barclays Center.

i have said it before..... GARSH, or the no-look hook, whatever you want to call it..... is thrown in desperation

he only throws that version of the hook when he is getting lit up or struggling, his usual hook off the jab is much more conventional

but Thurman is right when he says that it is about instinct/timing

Collazo WAS under-rated earlier in his career, but he was just as shot as Morales when he fought Thurman..... difference being Morales was elite at one point

Haha Good breakdown. I agree. I didn't mean to get too deeply into it, as not everyone would get it. All I meant to convey was that Danny hasn't got dazzling stuff. He does a lot of things right, and puts it together well, but he's not blowing you away with his natural ability. He has always managed to find a way to win. It's a good quality.

I love the way Thurman breaks down things, He is very intelligent and educated on the sport of boxing.

Danny gets hit more than KT
