I want to see him do well with his BT deal, he's in a position to put on the best fights this country has to offer. I don't think people understand how gigantic BT is in terms of financial power.

Regarding Khan he's pulling out all the stops and we can't fault him and his path.

Maidana did the same thing, and also got the big paydays.

Just shut up and fight, and the money will come.

More and more, intelligent boxers are self promoting. I notice the guys who drag on getting fights made (Arum, Warren, etc) are all so surprised this deal got made so quickly. When some old guy's ego is removed from the equation, it gets easier. And we get fights!
And how do these boxers get into a position to make millions without a promoter to build them into big names?? How many people would know who pacman was or how would he get the fights when he first went to the us without a promoter?
        Boxing needs promoters

Hello! Did you read what I wrote? I said "we're starting to see that promoters, or CERTAIN PROMOTERS (which would entail not all of them, yes?) are becoming obsolete." I then went on to explain that "More and more, intelligent boxers are self promoting" and that "when ego (from old school promotors like Arum, Warren) is removed from the equation, it gets easier. And we get fights!". Please don't take my words out of context. Thanks!
