Khan is an ideal opponent for any top fighter which is why he's getting these opportunities. He has a name, isn't a KO puncher and is susceptible to getting put to sleep from a single shot. So basically all you need to do is catch him slipping once over 12 rounds and it's over.

Kahn is showing the boxing world once again it's not about your record. If you fight tough fights and you lose, it's not a big deal, you'll get more fights.

Maidana did the same thing, and also got the big paydays.

Just shut up and fight, and the money will come.

I think we're all starting to see that promoters or certain promoters are becoming obsolete. You really just need a manager to choreograph with the venue and whatever if any network is involved, a lawyer for the contract and presto--fight! More and more, intelligent boxers are self promoting. I notice the guys who drag on getting fights made (Arum, Warren, etc) are all so surprised this deal got made so quickly. When some old guy's ego is removed from the equation, it gets easier. And we get fights!
