What a load of BS. He is fighting the 2nd best middleweight in the world very soon. He was ready to fight Canelo for Canelo's WBC middleweight title but Canelo didn't want to fight him. No other champion fighting today has three of the four belts. No other champion fighting today has 17 successful title defenses. No other champion defends his title as often as he does. No other champion has fought two of the other champions but he fought champion Lemieux and will soon fight champion Jacobs. He didn't chase Brook and you know that. He tried to fight Saunders and Eubank. Brook was a last minute substitute for chicken Eubank. As for as heart goes he has had enough heart to KO the last 24 guys in a row including Brook. That just drives you crazy. Try and wrap your bias, unfair brain around this.GGG is a smaller middleweight. As long as GGG is willing to fight any middleweight in the world that is all the heart he needs to show. The only reason you want him to move up so badly is because you know no middleweight fighting today can beat him. You desperately want him to lose and you know that can only happen if he fights above his proper weight. Just because Brook does something very ****** and gets himself crushed doesn't mean GGG has to be equally ****** to make you happy. GGG is a fine champion with tons of heart. If no middleweight in the world can beat him that's just tough ****. Deal with it.

GGG has made it, he is the number one. Keep hating, those tears taste delicious.

Larry rubs one out every night before he goes to bed dreaming of a black GGG.
Why don't you post your google trends chart? Golovkin was ahead for like 1 week when he announced his fight and you were bragging how he was more popular than Canelo. Is it because Canelo is once again shitting all over him even though Golovkins fight is weeks away and Canelo's is months away?

Jacobs isn't a champion you **** sucker, just like Golovkin wasn't when he held the WBA regular and there was a super champ. He doesn't have 17 defences for that reason. Lemieux won a vacant title against a C level fighter the fight before fighting Golovkin. Golovkin had his other 2 titles given to him, he never won them in the ring. Golovkin has said for years 154-168, just yesterday he said it again. Anyone mentions and you cry like a *****. Golovkin isn't a small MW i made a thread HERE comparing fight night weights of past MW's with Golovkins and isn't small at all. You and the other nuthuggers claim Golovkin is great but want him to sit fighting bums at MW instead of taking a challenge. There's nothing great about him, he has the worst resume of anyone considered top 5 P4P in history. He's a ****ing hype job.

Larry please stop with the racial stuff man. Although others stoop to it show you're better than them by not even bringing it up. We all know why certain posters say what they say but you're a boxing fan, they are fans of men(certain men to be exact).

If everyone just stayed patient we would find out soon enough. The Jacobs fight is a step in the right direction, I am pretty sure we are going to see him against Canelo before the end of the year, which will be the best Barometer in around 160 for GGG as I think Canelo is an all-round elite fighter and more complete than Jacobs etc. If he wins that fight then you will probably see him make a run at 168-175 and chase further greatness. Hopkins didn't move up until he got those pay days.

As far as how brave GGG is or isn't, I think he is like 90% of the fighters out there, his team weigh up risk vs reward and go for the best available option.

In terms of how good he is? Remains to be seen, I think he is very good, not sure if he is truly great. I think he isn't overly impressive athletically, he is very hittable, only decent speed, but the power and his ring smarts more than make up for his weaknesses.

I think guys like Jacobs will expose certain things in his style but ultimately Jacobs doesn't tick all the boxes as a fighter, so I expect him to have success whilst it lasts but get taken out sooner rather than later, he is walking too much of a tight rope to win this.

Canelo is the big test for GGG at 160. Canelo has the speed and power to stop his in his tracks, technical, skilful, just very complete as a fighter. We'll know much more about GGG after that fight one way or another.
Hopkins moved up also because he got beat twice by Jermain Taylor so he was unable to extend his undefeated middleweight run any longer.
