If Pac flattens him we need to start a petition to have his license revoked. He's going to end up punch drunk before he turns 30 for crying out loud.
If Khan gets flattened by Pacquiao, he finally takes the Brook fight, and then rides off into the sunset (were he to get flattened there as well). Khan may hang around for a possible Cotto fight, but that's about it.

The one silver lining about Khan's career, if you want to look at it like that, is that Khan's chin being as hair-trigger faulty as it is has helped keep Khan's brain from ever taking a sustained beating.

Prescott flattened him with a massive shot, Garcia put him out on wobbling legs with a massive shot, and Alvarez put him out on his back with a massive shot; from the outside looking in, the brain seems to serve far better when dealing with dozens of shots versus hundreds of shots.

Victor Ortiz, probably; Ortiz's main problem is that, in addition not having all that good a chin, he's also let that quit instinct fester in him.

Say what you want about Khan, he doesn't have that quit gene in him

He lost to garcia, canelo, peterson ( drug cheat and controversial loss where he was docked 2 points). Prescott was a bit of an anomaly whilst he was a prospect coming up. So the two fighters that beat him clearly when he reached world level are danny garcia and canelo alvarez who was way bigger. And thats meant to mean this guys a joke who needs to pack it in if he loses to 8x world champ, fighter of the decade manny pacquiao? **** me, you guys have high expectations of a fighter dont you. How about you clowns actually show him some respect for consistently fighting world level opponents, cause thats what happens at that level, youre like gonna win and lose some. Wont find many in the sport who have fought consistently at the level of opposition that khan has.
Well said...Khan might be an idiot outside the ring and say some very ****** stuff on a regular basis but he is a true warrior inside the ring and has the heart of a lion. It's the cool thing to abuse him on this forum but glad to see not everyone just follows the crowd.

Plus it's hard to argue that the Canelo KO won't have lasting damage. That was on par (if not worse due to the size disadvantage) with Pac's KO loss to Marquez in terms of damage inflicted.

3 brutal KO's in his career so far and he's not even 30.
2 rounds of beating spread across 2 of those fights. Nope they aren't career changing beatings and khan has never shown any signs of long term damage.

Khan is far from physically done but in boxing relevance and finances he does need a big win.

Regarding Khan not taking too much damage, some of those shots he took from Garcia at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th were absolutely ridiculous. Khan has the weirdest chin ever. He took a good few clean bombs in the 4th round whilst on ***** street and didn't go down, then he went down from a sc**** to the top of the head??

Khan showed immense heart in that fight. He went out on his shield and tried to battle back whilst his legs were deserting him. Say what you want about the lad but he doesn't have an iota of quit in him. To have a glass chin and still step in with the likes of Maidana, Canelo and now Pacquiao says a lot about the man. For money of course, every fighter is in it for the money but not every fighter is willing to risk permanent brain damage for however much money is on the table.

If he is in a competitive fight, and is just beaten over 12 rounds? i don't think he will retire! I honestly believe that stylistically this fight is a bad match up for Manny Pacquiao (At this stage in his career), and i am predicting that Amir Khan will win this fight on points!

Khan should outbox Manny, if he loses to this version of Manny by KO he really needs to hang them up, because Pacman is an old washed up fighter who is ripe for the taking, and if Khan cant beat him up to stop him he needs to reevaluate his career and think retirement
