say what u will about garcia but he has a point. yea you still have pac and canelo and arguably ggg but garcia is right up there at the top already. if he beats thurman i actually agree that he will get even bigger and if hes not the face of boxing hell be one of the faces.

right now its canelo and pac but i already put garcia right under them hes in the ggg broner bracket as far as star power already

The face of Boxing is Canelo, he's the top ppv guy as of post TBE. But whoever wins this fight, with millions of boxing fans and casuals watching, will be very popular . But we have to see how it translates following the fight. Danny can be very popular, because of ALL of the HATERS on this site, he can be huge.

No one gives Garcia credit for anything. Matthysse was supposed to murder him in the ring. Khan was a huge, huge favorite. He has beat a number of top fighters. Yet everyone on here wants to trash Garcia and everyone is praising Thurman. The same Thurman who literally starts shaking and stuttering whenever he hears the name Spence. Thurman fought Porter last time out. Other than that he has straight avoided any decent opponent. Literally. For years.

What other champion has fought the caliber opponents Garcia has?? Garcia fights the top opponent in his weight class about once every year or two. Everybody still hates him for beating Matthysse when he was supposed to be some killer who was going to dispatch Garcia in a round or two and then KO Floyd after that. Except Garcia beat him. So now everyone hates him.

But again what other fighter has fought the level of competition Danny Garcia has?

Oh and btw that hype job KO'ed the dude Garcia lost to.
I couldn't agree with you more. Keyboard warriors are good with hindsight...but Lucas earned his pre-Garcia "hype" with his performances, even in defeat.

Lol, no it doesn't Danny Boy. You are like 4th or 5th on the list as the face of the sport.

All due respect, you either have to fix your CAPS LOCK key or you need to a better job channeling your anger. You're gonna give yourself a heart attack with all that yelling.

No point in debating with those people. They just diminish the win by calling Matthysse a hypejob. And Im not even gonna waste my time beating a dead horse talking about that fight either.

Danny's been hitting his dad's crack pipe if he think's he's the face of anything. He's not even the face of his own family, his dad's the one making the head lines and been the talking point.

Puts him closer I guess and maybe they have plans but I don't see him blowing up like Floyd or Manny.

Has some good wins but a lot of questionable wins/close fights against guys he's supposed to dominate. A lot of bad cherry picks in between too.
