It's funny though, Canelo literally dropped his belt rather than fight his mandatory in Golovkin. Goes on to fight huge challenges in Smith, Khan and now fat ass irrelevant Chavez jr., which clearly is because Canelo is the only source of income for Golden Boy (as proven from the court documents). They repeatedly said they won't fight Golovkin until late 2017, which is exactly how things are unfolding, just as they always said. Yet, it's Golovkin that's ducking lol. These clowns man, so disillusioned by their hate for Golovkin they can't process clear information that's right in front of them!

True. It seems odd. Like Golovkin said though he's getting info from Loeffler right now being told GBP have not been serious and are playing around, and that Golovkin should get or deserves a split of 50% or something like that (i.e. 40%), something respecting both fighters as "champions". What I got from this interview is that Golovkin is just in the gym working out and loeffler comes in and feeds him updates and his thoughts, he's not actively involved in the negotiations, its details and making many decisions. If GBP are serious I think the fight will happen, recent reports seem to share that sentiment. Golovkin did say he was told the real negotiations will start after the jacobs fight(which it isn't out of left field to expect that might mean also after Canelo's fight with Chavez.

Comparing DLH to the current Alvarez is not smart doe. If you ask me, there's no A-side in the international blockbuster Golovkin vs Canelo fight. They both need each other.

There are literally Canelo fans out there, who will go to a post with "GGG" in the title, ahead of "Canelo".

I think he meant it was a 50/50 fight, as in an even fight because he says that same thing at the end of the video in regards to the Chavez fight.
