What do you think is next for Cotto and who would you like to see him fight?
if he is not going back to 147 maybe some CW with one of top WWs ,154 i would see him with younger Charlo or Williams ,rematch with Nelo is possible cuse his 36 and looking to Cash out ,Maybe Bradley or Khan ?

he have lots of possiblites after beating krikland (i assume he will beat him)

luck of contenters to P4P list makes Cotto stay for me ,if i would count Pac he would be close to top too ,just weak moment ,you can make list with 1 or 2 wins at the moment ,many things will change this year.
is this some kind of new standard that boxing fans have? oh he didnt get ko'd how great.

Maybe i put it wrong ,he not only avoided KO ,but was boxing to win to the end ,gave very competeive fight with top p4p fighter not first time in his careere ,also beat judah in his prime ,and Mosley ,now i know it was long time ago but Cotto didnt show a sign of slowing down ,if anything he improved ,his not chinny anymore and have expirience on highest lvl you can.

7.Cotto (probably still beats everybody in 147)

              9.Crawford
              10.Inoue

              Both resume and eye test
Yeah, if you'ren ot putting a time limit on resume, then Cotto could still be on any p4p list plus he did look very good in his last fight. I felt Cotto won and its clear from the judges cards the yhadn o intention o fscoring it fairly. If one is to score it for Canelo, it would still be close.

I think those judges gave Canelo 10 and 11 rounds....so Cotto won 1 or 2 rounds at most lol Thats ridiculous.

Cotto should have pursued an immediate rematch but he never did.

maybe due to Manny's retirement? I assume most would have taken him off their lists by that point

I have no problem with counting resume when i see that someone is not dropping off ,Cotto showed no such thing.

Ofc in case of RJJ or Mosley they resume dont mean **** in P4P talk now ,you know what i mean

This is not necessarily a thread to discuss the validity of each list but rather how thesel ists are put together and what you hold to be your criteria. And ofc a record of how it will change over the course of the year (if at all)

                  Mine is as thus:

                  1. Sergey Kovalev
                  2. Roman Gonzalez
                  3. Gennady Golovkin
                  4. Saul Alvarez
                  5. Vasyl Lomachenko
                  6. Terence Crawford
                  7. Manny Pacquiao
                  8. Naoya Inoue
                  9. Shinsuke Yamanaka
                  10. Juan Francisco Estrada
This list is dumb as ****. If you're gonna be a cheerleader, don't try to make it sound objective.
