All most everyone on this forum needs to read a fighters opponents stats to make an evaluation on them.

bigshow---"whys he placed so much higher than everyone else then, whats so special about crawford"...

The problem is that these folks don't know anything about techniques and style & form. They need to read names on a record sheet and then comment on the guys wins and loses.

Try learning about techniques and then methods being employed then you can see how and why a fighters success is established.

No, i'm saying he should fight a different way using his skill so as not to be a complete bore. That way he won't have the crowd booing him for running.

What's so special about Crawford? He's a complete fighter. Great speed, reflexes, skill, can fight and attack from any angle. Oh and he's outclassed everybody he faced despite being winning the title on the road (Burns) being a 3-1 underdog against Gamboa, shutting out Postol, a fighter who some ducked and had stopped Mattheyse. He also has other good wins.

dont really know what was so great about postol and i said that before the fight. 140 is weak as piss and always has been, postol may be 2nd best in that division, he'd struggle to be top 10 at welterweight. Its a division for people who are scared they will get found out at welterweight.

cause when i look at p4p lists he seems to be right up there near the top and i want to know why? Whats he done thats so impressive? Seen him top 3 in some of them yet i look at his cv and all he has on there is postol, burns and gamboa (half his size and gave him real problems). Is that considered a top CV these days? Was postol some superstar or something, pretty sure the top 147 fighters would have smashed him to pieces.

Theres quite a few fighters who have better wins than postol and have plenty of other B/C level fighters on there. Yet for some reason crawford has leapfrogged them. Brooks cv on here is widely considered on here as terrible, but is porter and senchenko really that much worse than postol and burns? Im not even counting gamboa cause of the ridiculous size difference. If you thought brook v ggg was a big size difference then i suggest you check out that fight....

So,what basis is there for him to be rated so highly, above other fighters who also possess at least one good win and then numerous victories over B and C level fighters. This is a genuine question because im scratching my head here...

He hasn't done a thing so far that is so amazing. His claim to fame is beating up on an undersized Cuban, and then easily beating a vastly overhyped robotic, stiff, Russian. Crawford will get exposed if he moves to welter. He better stay at 140, and continue to be softly matched.
