Does Buster Douglas gets tons of respect? That is essentially black Tyson Fury.

It's always sad to see people kick a dog when it's down.

The subject of this thread reminds me of what Tyson Fury's dad said, when he said his son would have got more respect and recognition if he was a Black kid from Peckham.

That's because Woodley is talking nonsense.

Would Tyson Fury have got more sympathy during these hard times if his name was Tyrone Fury and he was from Brownsville New York?
A redheaded white boy named Tyrone?

Pro boxing is a demanding sport and boxing fans have high expectations from their champions. There is never going to be much sympathy for a champion who won't defend his title no matter what his name is. This goes double for the world's heavyweight champion.

Tyson is hated by some because he's a gypsy. I say "some" because the majority like him, but those few haters are just more vocal, usually venting their BS online. Fury will be back to unify the HW division soon. AJ, Wilder, Ortiz...what have they really done? Have they gone to a man's own backyard and wrestled the title off him like Tyson did? No. They've been fighting cans and now think they're hard. *******.

If any other top fighter got caught taking steroids would they have gotten off as lightly with the fans as Fury has? It's like everyone has given him a pass for being a cheat. Ridiculous.
