It was the same with Floyd, he could beat very good fighters and get no credit for it where as other fighters would be the best thing since sliced bread with those wins.

Manny isn't what he was, but i doubt you're beating Bradley or Vargas back to back unless you're a top notch fighter. I think Khan is going to be in deep in this fight.
    I suppose you're right...

I can't say I agree with this statement.

He's legit, one of the greatest WW's ever, and the second best of the previous era. I think the thing is, his recent opposition hasn't been the greatest, with the only exception being Bradley (and Mayweather of course).

Honestly speaking, he's still good, but I think there are more than a few fighters who could either trouble him immensely, or beat him, and he's being steered away from them so that he doesn't get sparked out, or out-boxed.

That said, if he loses to Khan, I'll be extremely disappointed personally. Khan has elite hand speed, but that's it.

But hey, the proof will be in the pudding come April 23rd(?).

When you have to try to elevate a win over Jessie Vargas that's when your argument falls flat. He beat Tim Bradley 3 times, beating him a second and third doesn't make the first win better.

The WW division is stacked. There's no way of knowing who the best is until they fight each other. A very, very slow process waiting for top welters to actually compete with each other.

I'm happy to see Thurman taking people on.

Pac could be the best WW today -- he's top 3 or so -- but so could other guys.

No, I do not believe he is N. 1 at this moment. He hasn˙t fought Thurman, Brook or even Khan.

We will find out who is the best when these guys fight each other.

He's adapted his game now as he doesn't have the legendary stamina he once did but now he's a phenomenal boxer and Mayweather explained the traps he saw (and scuffed out I must say) which make Manny great. Ultimately, based on history and recent performances; Manny is now the best welterweight in the world unless someone proves otherwise by beating elite competition and proving it.
                    Agreed.

Although I think Manny is well past his best and looked like an imitation of himself vs vargas (still won easily) he is the best welter around. I'd still rate bradley to beat any of the guys in the division.

But Thurman/Garcia winner has a good shout at being the best.

if pac had been given the decision against floyd that he deserved would you be saying hes not the best? remember he landed the much better punches against floyd. i know floyd still "outboxed" him because of....and also because of....and don't forget floyd did.....and all that equals outboxed but lets pretend boxing is based on clean punches for one post.
