Who wins Ward vs Kovalev 2 and why no poll only real assessments allowed

I think the dynamics change a bit in this fight. Kovalev is mad and has grounds to be I suppose, I along with alot of people thought he won the first fight, albeit narrowly. I think he switches gears this time and goes for the stoppage. Ward will have to wade through hell for 3-5 rounds, If he can make it through the onslaught and can stay off the canvas he will win and it may be tight depending what kind of damage he has taken early on. Ward is slick enough to make it through the barrage I think but it depends on Kovalev's gas tank. If he can sustain pressure and punishment past 5 rounds its going to be rough for Andre.

Now, thats not how I think Kovalev should fight him but I think the odds are he will.

I think that kovalev knows what ward will bring now...if kovalev uses his jab and can keep ward from spoiling then he wins by decision or late stoppage , kovalev will be out for revenge and i don't thinks wards tactic will work this time and pot shotting won't be enough in the rematch

Ward 8 to 4 or 9 to 3. Ward will be sharper and this short time between fights will help him focus instead of being inactive like he usually does. It is about normal time off for Kovalev, but the guy who wins the first time usually has an advantage the 2nd time as well. Ward is more well rounded and like someone said Ward should put in more body shots earlier in the fight.

This is doubly true because Kovalev is typically a VERY active fighter. The long layoff will hurt him, but it shouldn't affect Ward too much since...this is the typical **** Ward does XD

Anyhow I think the result will be the same. Another close fight, however, I think there will be less discrepancy. I still think it will be ~7-5, but there will be less grey rounds.

Any fan can legitimately score the 1st fight for Kovalev and not be wrong. The first fight was that close and that's why it's awesome these 2 Top 5 PFP guys are doing it again.

Kovalev, he's in Wards head, Ward doesn't believe he won that fight and its in there even if he won't admit it, when they announced the winner he had a shocked look on his face, it was pretty clear he knew he didn't deserve that decision.

how is that the only way??? almost everyone had him winning the first fight by decision. you dont understand the concept of a self fulfilling prophecy i see. you keep doing it so you can make your bias come true. kov can't win by decision kov can't win by decision you keep telling yourself. then when it goes to decision...oh wow you thought ward won. you created your own bias before the fight even started and you think you have credibility?
