While true he can't really talk given how he **** himself vs Stevenson still I'll be rooting for him this weekend.

He was out for 3 years after the shoulder injury. It wasn't like he had a swim in the sea and was repaired in under 6 months.

Buthayedid last distance at least with wlad that's got to be good.
He beat chisora which is good and Barrett and Ruiz. All quite good fighters

Pot, kettle, black. This is a guy that got beat by Nathan Cleverly and in the rematch, couldn't knock him out. What's Bellew's best win? He drones on about having a load of power, but 18ko's isn't that impressive for a so-called power puncher with 28 fights, most of them tomato-can domestic level fighters at light heavy.

Haye meanwhile has proven his skill and power at cruiser and at heavy. To say 'no top-10 heavies' is a bit misleading as to be honest, Wlad aside, there really wasn't much out there during Haye's WBA reign. Maybe Adamek or the russian dude. Joshua, Wilder, Parker, Fury etc have all filled the gap since he semi-retired. Chisora was a good win and remains a solid HW.

That being said, his come back fights have been embarrassing.

Bear in mind that, being "retired", he would not have been tested by anyone e.g. UKAD for the duration of that "retirement"; a very clever ploy imo!
