Wilder needs to dump his current trainer and team up with Roach!

Seriously, a guy with a power like him, he needs to be in with a real coach who can channel that street power and have some sort of technique! He is wasting that God given gift of a power!

    1. Under Roach Wilder can have improved technique.
    2. Can ACTUALLY 'set up' power punches.
    3. Know some feints.
    4. Have a good jab ATLEAST
    5. Having a good sense of range, and not go on the windwill attack.
    6. Know how to counter. There were at least a hundred cases where Wilder can counter with that big straight right hand and he didn't took it because he didn't have no.5

He is just lost on this sport man. I pity him. I hope he can improve his offense! It's horrible!

Floyd Mayweather Sr would be a better option for him instead.

      He should hire Peter Fury.

When it comes to offense and technique in throwing punches, none can ramp it up better than roach.

Those wild shots Wilder throws hoping one will land will get him to the canvass soon. This is where Mayweather comes in. Wilder relies too much on his power so he really needs to be given the basics. He also tends to get hit more so Mayweather is better even though Roach is good too.

The shot that dropped Williams was NOT a wild punch.

            Now was it.

Breland has worked wonders on Wilder.....he'll be a fool to leave him.

No, he just needs to have Mark Breland as head trainer. I don't know who the other guy is but he isn't improving Wilder at all.

Edit: I take that back, I thought Breland was just helping out but I just read he is head trainer. I'm very surprised he hasn't corrected the plethora of mistakes Wilder makes.

I don't really think he needs a new trainer, but he just needs to fine tune his boxing technics. He shouldn't be throwing wide punches at this stage of his career after almost 40 fights honing his craft. Go and watch someone like Kelly Pavlik when he has you hurt, he is calm, focus and destroys you. Going wild and wide can get Wilder in trouble with better or equal quality opponents, at the moment i still think he beats someone like Joshua just because he is more fluid.

Wilder(and Parker) is the only heavy not packing extra tonnage.

                  He's slim...he can get a 2nd wind.

                  When you're 260.....there is no 2nd wind.

"you can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink"

Breland and Goosen are teaching Wilder all the technique he needs but there are times when his focus gets challenged and he gets wild er!
