If Hughie had been suspended he would have lost his WBO ranking. No way would a boxer without a valid boxing licence be allowed to participate in a purse bid for a world title fight.

Another decent fight to add to the mix we have so far this year.

This fight does not bring any benefit to Parker.

Thompson and Teper retained their rankings. Thompson'a ban was covered up whilst he served it too.

          Nice try.

Just admit it, you think he's banned too.

What happened when Povetkin got suspended?

He immediately lost his place as WBC mandatory challenger.

You need to understand, there is a difference between covered up and not announced. Thompson's ban was in the UK only, so he was free to box anywhere else in the world.

Teper's ban went unreported for 5 months because the German Boxing Commision never informed the EBU about it, which they were supposed to have done as soon as it was imposed.

If Hughie had been suspended, the BBBoC would have notified the WBO and he would not have been allowed to take part in a purse bid and sign a contract to fight Parker.

It's a mandatory defence and he's getting his highest ever purse for it, plus home advantage.

Is this what we call decent nowadays?

15 years ago, parker-fury would have been on a HBO boxing after dark undercard.

This isnt worthy of main event.

Parker barely gets by fury in an uneventful fight.

It's what i call decent. I'm looking forward to it. If you're not, fair enough, but that doesn't change my opinion.

Unless of course their is a gagging order and no one is aware except for the QC they empowered, who openly included the media in their press release when he took the case on, a case in which we haven't heard anything since the QC took it on.

Come on, it doesn't take a fool to work out what has transpired here.
