Izu should have been given a chance to get back up, as he was already pulling himself up before the ref stopped the fight...without even checking on teh down opponent. A sloppy night of heavyweight "boxing".

Having said all that, he isnt a very good fighter.

No I think they may have rushed him. He went from fighting trialhorses to a fringe contender. That was a big step up. They should have got him in a few fights with durable journeymen like Fred Kassi, Nagy Aguilera or Derric Rossy. Those guys can all box & go rounds. They don't go in just to survive. They go in there to win so it's these types of opponents he should have been in against before stepping up. Just my opinion.
