I beg to differ. Daniel Santos, while mostly unknown, is a very big hitter. Ask Antonio Margarito, he got his world rocked four times in their last match. He isn't much to look at (very technical southpaw) but he has heavy hands. I think he would own Spinks.Originally posted by spinksjinxSpinks would outbox Wright, Winky is a southpaw so is Cory and Winky doesnt box southpaws to well himself. Their isnt a fighter at 154 that can hurt Spinks. That division is so shallow a mistake on his behalf, but I dont think its because he cant make the weight it was because he didnt train the same that he put on more.
Spinks wont ever be on top again in a division as talentless as 154.
Also everyone can count out a rubber match with Judah then I guess; and it would be safe to say that at 154 Spinks is safe and wont get knocked out. Their isnt one heavy hitter at 154.
Also, Mayorga is coming back down to 154 so if they meet I expect Mayorga to win (as I had him winning their first match).Comment

for me its good, that way we wont see a trilogy, that way zab cn fight the topdogs like hoya,mosley,zoo,etc...i think cory has a decent chance of getting by santos,,but thats it...he is so boring too,he is ina bad spot, without the belts, hesgonna find it hard to get an opponent, casue he wont bring a crowd and he is too much of a threat,so theres no gain in fighting him..and dont say the stlouis crowd is gonna show like that even if he doesnt have the belts...Comment

Originally posted by SonnyJthere are more opportunities for spinks at welterweight. let's see him redeem his loss first.
it won't happen, Spinks doesn't want to see Judah again, he's afriad of him, has been ever since he got KD'd in the first fight. His only chance at keeping Zab off him in another fight is to knock him down again, but Cory's so worried about Judah's power he'll move around and not put any power into his punches. Judah's chin isn't all that great either, if Spinks wants to beat Judah he has to make Zab respect him again. He can try to outbox Zab, maybe if he moves and stays behind the jab he can outbox Judah, but will keep coming after him and eventually Spinks will get caught again. Spinks should stay away from santos and ouma ( i think Ouma can make Spinks lean back ), he might beat Wright thoughComment

Santos isnt fast enough to keep up with Spinks, so I dont think that would be a factor to consider and Spinks wouldnt stand their after what happened Saturday. Also Mayorga hasnt showed any power since 147 also not another concern.Comment

what a bad decision! he must stay at 147.Originally posted by Zab Super Judahhe said he's through with 147 and it is too hard for him to make 147 while maintaining his speed and quickness....maybe we see a ouma vs spinks or spinks vs wright
there are many good fighter at 147, rather than at 154.
mayorga and mosley were the better fighter he must faced.
to uplift his reputation, jumping in next division was not the best option..........Comment
