As a Brit I'm rooting for Brook but it's better for boxing if Spence wins.. He won't keep the belt hostage and fight guys like Jo Jo Dan if he becomes champ.

Exactly we will no doubt see Spence in there with Thurman, Garcia, Porter and whoever else is relevant in the division. Can't say the same for the other guy though.

I wonder why/how this negotiation was able to happen... Was it because Top Rank wasn't willing to pay Pacquiao's contractual guarantee of 20 million? If they don't pay him the guarantee, he's allowed to be sort of a free agent?
