Finally saw some improvements from Wilder. He didn't throw haye makers until the very end.
He also tried to use the jab although he's awful at it. I never realized, but apparently he's not strong enough to fight on the inside. Washington was man handling him on the inside.

In short, I think Wilder vs Joshua is a good fight, but Wladimir is a stylistic nightmare. Even a 45 year old wlad would jab and hold him to an easy UD.

Whats with Wilder, he abandons his jab and movement. Dangerous fight style against a big strong guy.Great finisher though.

The thing with Wlad and while I agree his jab is a huge issue, Wilder is a dangerous man from the outside if he throws one from in too close or throws a lazy one. Plus lot of time when Wlad jabs then comes in he reaches to grab. Wilder if he plays it right can time for that right and use his short right hand which a very devastating punch when Wlad reaches for the clinch.

I would hope Wilder would be a bit more proactive against Wlad and not be passive like he fought tonight.

Deontay Wilder looks at Ringside where Joseph Parker is and says ' I want it now! ' He came to Alabama its time to step in the ring and stop being a spectator! BOMBSQUAD!!!

I was thinking something similar but I remember when Dillian Whyte touched Anthony Joshua's chin in the 2nd round. Imagine if that had been Wilder? We all know what the result would have been! I really wonder if Anthony can take a good solid shot from Deontay?

Having said this, I still would slightly favor Anthony Joshua at this point but only slightly.

The thing is Gerald has a 60% ko ratio wich is ridiculous for a HW.

If Wilder let AJ boxes him like that, yes he get KTFO.

But I would never count Wilder out, dude can change a fight with that power.

What if the other guy has power too?

                  Washington wasn't a HW puncher.

Guys like Josh, Wlad or even Parker can crack.

How DW chin would hold against another puncher?

I don't get the 'you can beat him for 11 rounds and then get ko'd" Like wilder has a granite chin. Molina had him heavily rocked & he's not a big puncher
