I really cant see wilder beating luis ortiz...

I see him getting a boxing lesson. Wilder has big power, but **** me he is the exact opposite of resourceful with it. Any decent boxer that evades that big loopy right hand chin checks him for fun.

I just don't get it. Mark Breland is training this guy and Deontay's jab is awful. Breland also had a great left hook, not to mention that right uppercut. You would think he'd be teaching these things to Deontay as they have similar builds in that they are long fighters. All Wilder has is that right hand. He talked so much about working with his left when his right got hurt but he still doesn't know how to use it.

Not quite never, but Wilder does fight a lot at home. And Anthony never fights outside the UK.

Fighters should fight where they have a fan base. I would love to see Joshua - Wilder, but Joshua has a tough defense against Wlad, and that's not a gimme.

            Like who??
Joshua, fury (at the time) even Dylan whyte and ortiz will get in the ring with wilder... their is a long line who are willing to get into the ring, but something always seems to happen were he ends up fighting nobody's.... well the povetkin thing wasn't really his fault but you know what I mean

Very anti-climactic and a bad stoppage, Washington was winning the fight, Wilder was getting his ass kicked, they should have been allowed to continue. Bull****.

Washington was getting caught with some shots after the knockdown, but he was fine for the moment. He had just ducked under Wilder's hook and was about to hold Wilder and recover, then the ref stepped in to say it was stopped, but saw Washington was fine, so he backed up. Meanwhile Washington saw the ref stop the fight, and started looking at the ref and relaxing, and Wilder kept swinging, hit him with shots he wasn't expecting or braced for because his focus switched from Wilder to the ref, and that's what scrambled his brain and ended it. Otherwise, Washington may have recovered, and gone on to win the fight. But the ref prematurely stopped the fight, then backed off, so he was turning to the ref to say wtf, I'm fine, and then the ref just let Wilder hit him when he wasn't looking, and that is what hurt him beyond recovery.

This is why PBC is ****ed. Three great fights, but totally unsatisfying night of boxing. Two out of three fights ruined at the critical moment by either corrupt or incompetent refs. Of course, it happens on HBO too, but two out of three? It's a joke. I was pumped halfway through the Hurd-Harrison fight, left disappointed. I was pumped halfway through the Wilder-Washington fight, left doubly disappointed that it happened twice in a row. It's inexcusable and this is another reason I hope PBC fails, and the fans have turned against it. It's inexcusable to ruin potentially great fights with corruption or incompetence like this.

When has he had to so far? lol..

The paper champ he won the belt from and the two challengers came over to the UK for the big payday they get boxing here.

USA hasnt been a HW payday for years!

Joshua has signed a shotime deal though so he should be boxing in the US in the future provided he beats wlad.

A fight between him and Prime Mike Tyson would be epic. I think that's a true 50/50 fight.
