why are those 2 things mutually exclusive?

Newsflash: Loeffler and Oscar can both be clowns at the same time. Its not a "one or the other" equation

You do know there's different kinds of rematch clauses don't you? Not every rematch clause has to be an immediate. Also the rematch clause will only be if Canelo loses, in that case the Golovkin fight would probably be off anyway. I'm pretty sure a Golovkin/Canelo fight contract would be with the condition they both win their next fights. I thought you used to be in the business?

You do realize that GBP doesn't represent all of Mexican Boxing. Mexican boxing has its own industry, and Chavez Sr. as well as other professionals in Mexican industry are already acknowledging a rematch. I told everyone before that this was a strategical closure for post Trump drama. ESPN deportes been rinsing rematch talks. Of course we all know if fights turn out great then rematches happen. Draw, close, whatever, isn't that concept as to why everyone wants the Ward can Kova rematch?

Boxing is a business. Everyone for themselves. One Punch should know this...

Just don't be naive or as they say, a hypocrite, to think ggg or Abel aren't in on the clown age is taking the piss man. Ggg is an adult, 35? He knows what's going on, and with all that being said, dude's a coward imo

Of course its an immediate rematch clause you dolt. There is no way that Oscar would risk Chavez beating Canelo and then getting Fonfara'd in his next fight.

You just ignored the rest because you look like a clown. "I used to be in the business", well we know why you're no longer in the business.

I DO know this. Which is exactly why I have said from Day 1 that the "offer" from Golden Boy likely had an escape clause, along with other nonsense like options, etc. There is no way its a "clean" offer.

Its the naive idiots like Isaac and a few others who seem to think that Oscar would put a clean $15 million offer on the table. Its laughable......

there is not a written contract yet, ggg needs to agree the offer first before they write a contract... canelo can fight whoever he wants in september since there is no contract to prevent it, there could be one but ggg didnt agree to the offer so there is no such a thing as clauses yet...
why should canelo wait for ggg to make up his mind if there are other lucrative options available?? if canelo beats chavez convincingly ggg needs to act fast and secure the fight ASAP, maybe even before the ppv numbers from the chavez fight show up...

People have already addressed that K2 is in no position to act like Top Rank B-side deserves more. The new offer is at 160. Shlt man even bhop sacrificed 2 lbs for Oscar because he wanted to steal the show. Floyd had to concede to Oscar. What do Bhop and Floyd have in common? Belts and PPV of their own before taking those fights. Again people don't know that HBO has official PPV protocol in Canada and nowhere else. Lemieux was a star there. 97k were Canadian buys, not Golovkin, same thing as to why the U.K. crowd bood for Golovkin yet Loeffler publicizes "sold out" because of ggg. K2's a charade bruh

15 million is a good offer with upside. Beat Alvarez and follow the steps of Bhop or Floyd. This isn't complicated

Golovkin can take his $15m or he can walk, it's really that simple.

It is being made beyond clear that Alvarez has options beyond Golovkin for his September date (with a Chavez Jr rematch and a rematch with Cotto, were he to beat Marquez this Spring, as the two foremost options).

welcome to the big leagues, lol
