We go through this every year. Crawford is ducking ______. He should've fought Beltran instead of Burns. He should've fought Postol instead of Lundy. Since he's beaten the top dog in the division now people are reaching and trying to find obscure, unproven guys.

When will he have accomplished enough to get the benefit of the doubt? Why are unproven prospects getting favoritism over proven champions? What has Crawford done in his career to give you the impression that he would duck someone?

I would love to see this fight. Diaz is an overlooked Olympic gold medalist who has gotten raw deals. But if negotiations fall through, I will give the guy who has already proven to me that he will fight the best of the best the benefit of the doubt.

And you still haven't addressed how Burns is an acceptable fight despite already losing on his home turf in convincing fashion. It's like you guys are trying to create new ducks since Crawford already conquered 2 weight divisions.
Burns is an acceptable fight because he's the champion in the weight division. Crawford said his goal is to become undisputed. How the hell is he supposed to do that without fighting Burns? What's the point of staying at 140 if he isn't trying to get all the titles? What's the end game for Crawford at 140?

smh at Diaz. You can't call a guy out and then price yourself out at the negotiating table.

If you call out a champion, then be ready to fight at their terms otherwise work your way to a mandatory position.

I get your point, but it could be as simple as him not being ready to move to 147 yet. He's been at 140 for less than 2 years. Add to that garcia may be there at 140 for him next year....

He could just be comfortable at his weight right now.

Burns ain't no champion. Crawford is the world champion following the likes of Tony Canzoneri, Barney Ross, Aaron Pryor, Julio Cesar Chavez and recently Danny Garcia. Those paper titles mean nothing . The end game is to defend the title against top contenders so he can be recognized as one of the most dominant champions at 140. Once he can no longer make the weight he can move up to 147 to work on the next chapter of his career.

Idk why everyone is ****ting on granados. Dude lost a razor close split decision to broner. Fact is, if 1 judge saw 1 round different, this wouldn't be a big deal. Had granados got whopped by broner, then I'd agree.

Diaz is a tricky fighter who nobody outside of a few here could pick out of a line-up.

Granados just put on a fine performance in a loss to Broner, and while he is a decent fighter he is a rather straight forward proposition for Crawford.

Easy choice for Arum~ even if he has to pay Granados more.

Wow thats embarrassing, that guy who just lost to Broner? Way to ruin any momentum Crawford had.
