Ive been joking that I back Jr. bc he represents us -- he's a toker, a slacker, and he's often overweight -- basically me, LOL

Honestly, I cant be a fan of a dude that doesn't put in the work.

But I am a confirmed Canelo hater. Ive hated him since he got in a fistfight with Archi Solis -- really, fighting a Jr. Fly?

I also thought he was a hype job through his early career. Look at who the WBC arranged to be his opponents for his first belts. Matthew Hatton? Some other Brit whose name I forget but who disappeared.

Since then, he has shown to be a good fringe p4p type (maybe just outside my top 10).

His ducking of GGG I would accept -- if he hadn't called him out and also implicated Mexicanos by saying "We Mexicanos don't **** around" -- now his cowardice looks bad on us.

I do push back against what someone else mentioned -- that Canelo is being pushed on us as a superstar. He's a good young fighter. But there are many more talented fighters. Hell, Estrada is better IMO, if we're just talking Mexicans, as well as LSC & Mikey.

So WAR JR!!! Spark Canelo in the ring and then spark up a fatty in the ring afterwards!

I'm figuring that Jr has zero chance as a matter of fact I doubt he even comes in shape, I view this as simply picking up a paycheck. That said I'm routing for him in a way simply because if he would accidentally win somehow, it'll shake everything up and I view the current posturing and BS needing a shake up.

Not Mexican, but will be cheering on Chavez Jr. He's an underdog and son of a legend. Canelo and DLH can go **** themselves.

Canelo. Not that I'm a huge fan of Alvarez, but I have had huge problems with JCC Jr. ever since the whole incident with Maravilla. He's a great fighter, but I can't cheer for a guy who was groomed by a champion, to become a champion, and had every single roadblock cleared for him by a sanctioning body and promoters that were desperate to recreate his father through him. If he wasn't Junior, he'd be a gatekepper, and would have been fed and treated as such...but because he was born with the right dad he is a protected "legend in the making."

Sorry but I'm not buying, never have, and boxing needs a strong central star right now, Canelo can be that. Jr can't.

Canelo is more skillful and more dedicated to his craft. If he wins there is always the fantasy of a super fight.

If Jr wins you don't know what you will get next. Karma could make him a winner in this fight.

Oh Jr. is losing, and yes, he had every advantage and refused to put in the work, smoked out like Cheech & Chong, and ate his way out of his only advantage (being much bigger than his MW opponents)

But still, how sweet would be if this stunt backfired on Team Canelo! That would be awesome!

It would be like the first Rocky movie!! (except that Rocky was instead the son of a rich boxing legend and he refused to train -- so they would play the Rocky theme music and instead of training they would show Jr. lounging on the couch)
