Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz vs. Dillian Whyte Could Be Possible, Says Eddie Hearn

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sports says it's possible that we could see a heavyweight clash between top contenders Luis Ortiz (27-0, 23 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (20-1, 15 KOs). Both fighters work with Hearn's company.

If old man Stiverne dont want that work against grandpapa Ortiz... then have Ortiz vs Dillian "tarkin rubbish" Whyte as the final eliminator.

    Winner gets Wilder

Whyte isn't good enough to beat Ortiz. He should have took the chisora rematch in my opinion. At least he's up for fighting the top contenders and maybe the chisora rematch can happen even if he loses.

Dillian sorely deserves a whopping after that gift he got over Chisora.

Ortiz is just the man for the job.

Will likely be one sided but if Whyte is the highest ranked guy willing to get in there with Ortiz then fair enough. He has toughness, determination. Wonder if he'll last as long as Dave 'Fitness First' Allen.

Would much rather see WBC order Stivernie vs Ortiz for a shot at Wilder next instead of Stivernie just being GIVEN a shot because of that Povetkin Mess

The WBC should order Stiverne-Ortiz. If Stiverne officially refuses to fight, demote him and make Ortiz-Whyte a title eliminator. Winner gets Wilder.
