There's no myth. When a Ward/g string fight was a real possibility, team g string insisted upon 164 lbs. This after OKing 168 for both Chavez Jr and Froch. They knew Ward would be hard pressed to make 168 and 164 wasn't even possible. Clear duck by team g string.
