I love how angry the pro Kov/pro GGG crowd is getting over Ward and his comments.

Ward absolutely should honor the contract and rematch Kov next. The question is how do they go about making this happen. As #original zero has pointed out, Ward seems to want an HBO deal before committing to fighting Kov. If HBO doesn't make him an offer does that kill the fight?

IMO HBO's budget issues mean he likely wont get the deal he wants. If he takes a SHO deal, which he absolutely could as a FA, that probably makes it harder to make the fight.

I hope when all the dust settles that Ward/HBO/roc/main events all work together to get this fight made.

Not for nothing and I respect Ward and whatever decision he makes but I had this image that he was stronger mentally then that. You can't expect the road to greatness to be silky smooth and without trials. To just say that he is not appreciated and because of that he will retire is like wanting recognition for the job that YOU ARE PAID TO DO. IT"S YOUR MOFOKNG JOB. Floyd been getting no appreciation since forever and did that stopped him from rematching Castillo and Maidana? Np. He wanted to make it clear who the better fighter was, that's it. SMH.
