Comments Thread For: Manuel Charr Injured, Odlanier Solis Fight is Called Off

The heavyweight collision between Manuel Charr and Odlanier Solis, that was set for March 11 in Bonn (Germany) and initially announced for the WBA interim-title - is now off. Charr is sidelined with an injured shoulder, and because of that he is physically unable to go forward with the fight.

Good. Both can retire now hopefully, I have no desire to see Wilder, Parker Or Joshua fight the winner as a credible opponent.

Both these guys blew their big chances & have been on the decline. This had the possibility of actually being a decent fight as both know it doesn't get anymore crossroads than this. I actually was looking forward to this fight. It could of been a real stinker but it also could have been a decent scrap. Charr does like to mix it up but when he stepped up he was usually out gunned. He reminds me of Frans Botha in his better days. Not afraid to fight anyone & will stand in the middle of the ring & exchange big punches. The problem is sometimes he was going to a gun fight with a knife...
