      1.
a person who has defeated or surpassed all rivals in a competition, especially in sports.

Champion has a different definition in boxing, that some fans, like GGG fans, are content with. I don't agree with the neo-champion era. Davis has not "surpassed all rivals in a competition".

We need to go back to one title per weight class. 4 titles killed the definition of a champion in boxing. They shouldn't even be called a champion any more, just a 'political belt holder' for obtaining a belt through the politics of boxing.
Massively agree with this. It pissed me off when they put Anthony Joshua forward for a title fight knowing they wouldn't try to unify for at least a year or two. Just take on other prospects if you can't mix it as a "champ".

            Loma... power...? Where?
He hasn't showed Mike Tyson type power, but 5 KO's of 7 wins shows that he is most likely to stop his opponent than not, and 2 of those KO's were against top fighters and happened in his last 2 fights, which is a good sign that he gets stoppages at the top level. But I agree that power is not his strong point. Which is actually great, that you have power but aren't even known for that. That means he's not one dimensional, and if he can't KO you it doesn't matter, he can do what he's best at: outbox you.

Pedraza had more than a pulse, he was favored against Davis. Most thought Pedraza would 'expose' Davis.

Davis said himself he will fight Loma later when there both at 135 or 140, so that's not gonna happen. Not that it matters i don't think Floyd or Arum would work together.

was a good win but if he fights a top name he's going to lose. Dont want to **** on the kid but thats the harsh truth of it.

I think he stops Salido. Salido's been down a good amount of fights and maybe been in 1 too many wars. It wouldn't surprise me if Davis got a ko victory
