Wilder has everything's to lose and nothing to gain in this fight. He won't gain any credit if he stops Washington and no one is ever going to take him serious until he steps up and actually start facing opposition with a pulse.

Wilder should at least fight guys like Pulev or Ortiz which would be a huge step up from all his previous opponents.I am not even talking about Joshua,Fury,Parker or Haye.Just solid Top 10 fighters like Pulev or Ortiz.
